Meet Dan Wilson, DDS
Dr. Wilson was born and raised in the great Northwest. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University in 1984, and immediately returned to his home state of Idaho to practice the art of dentistry. Dr. Wilson joined Dr. William Chetwood, who was transitioning to retirement.
Dr. Wilson enjoys the variety and challenges of performing most all of the disciplines of dentistry i.e., everything from a simple filling to full mouth reconstructions.
Dr. Wilson spends much time each year studying with national dental experts. He served for many years as the restorative dental advisor for the local chapter of the national Seattle Dental Study Club.
Dr. Wilson is recognized as a leader in the Idaho state dental community. He currently is the immediate past President of the Idaho Dental Association, having served as president of the Association in 2018-2019.
Dr. Wilson has also been recognized as a Fellow by both the International College of Dentistry, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy – the two international dental honor societies.
After dental school, Dr. Wilson continued his dental education, over several years, with the prestigious Dawson Dental Academy and is a graduate of their curriculum.
